Job description

We’re looking for an Integration Technician to join our production team. This role is hands-on and shop-based, focused on assembling and integrating fixed-wing UAVs to enable airworthy, flight-ready systems. You’ll play a critical role in the final stages of production — ensuring every aircraft that leaves the floor meets quality and airworthiness standards.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate fixed-wing UAV systems from sub-assemblies through to completed, airworthy aircraft
  • Install, route, and terminate electrical harnesses, avionics, and onboard systems
  • Perform mechanical assembly including airframe fit-up, control surface rigging, and hardware installation
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and functional checks to verify airworthiness
  • Identify and resolve integration issues, coordinating with engineering when needed
  • Document build status, discrepancies, and completed work clearly and accurately
  • Support continuous improvement by flagging recurring integration challenges to the production team

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, including wiring harnesses, connectors, and avionics installation
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in structural assembly, fastener installation, and precision fit-up
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Experience working on UAVs or aircraft in a production or maintenance environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fixed-wing UAV platforms specifically
  • Familiarity with airworthiness standards or inspection processes
  • Background in both production assembly and troubleshooting/integration
  • Personal interest or experience in hobby aviation, drones, or RC vehicles
  • English speaking — not required, but helpful
