We’re looking for an experienced 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to lead and drive the performance of our Collections function in the Philippines.

This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing collection strategies, improving recovery rates across all delinquency stages, leading the in-house collections team, and managing external collection agencies.

𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 is an international fintech group with nearly 15 years of experience, delivering and scaling innovative financial products across Europe, Asia, Africa, and America.

📍 Location: Manila, Philippines — office-based

🌟 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿:

• Proven experience in Collections / Debt Recovery, ideally within fintech, lending, banking, or a similar environment;
• Experience as a Head of Collections, Deputy Head of Collections, Collections Manager, Collections Supervisor, or Team Leader with strong hands-on expertise;
• At least 2 years of managerial experience, with a strong focus on decision-making, performance management, and accountability;
• Strong understanding of collection processes across different DPD buckets and risk segments;
• Proven experience developing and optimizing collection strategies and recovery processes;
• Experience managing both in-house collection teams and third-party collection agencies;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use collection data and KPIs to drive business decisions;
• Experience working with collection channels such as SMS, IVR, voice calls, and field collections;
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills;
• English — B1-B2.

• Own collection targets and recovery rates across all DPD buckets, ensuring the department consistently meets business objectives;
• Build, implement, and continuously optimize collection strategies, scripts, and channel mix across different risk segments;
• Define the most effective combination of SMS, IVR, voice, field collections, and other collection channels based on customer and portfolio characteristics;
• Lead, develop, train, and motivate the in-house Collections team, ensuring high performance and accountability;
• Establish and maintain quality assurance standards and monitor the quality of collection activities;
• Select, onboard, manage, and control third-party collection agencies, ensuring they meet agreed performance and quality standards;
• Develop and monitor KPIs and performance indicators for both internal and external collection teams;
• Manage the Collections budget and cost-to-collect, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and recovery economics;
• Analyze portfolio and collection performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions;
• Develop strategies for managing non-performing loans and continuously improve recovery processes;
• Collaborate with IT and other internal teams to implement and optimize technical collection tools and solutions;
• Take full ownership of the performance and results of the Collections function in the Philippines.
