Senior Full Stack Ecommerce Engineer

Full-time remote | $1,500-$2,000 base | USA Hours We are building a repeatable ecommerce deployment system for client businesses and need a strong technical generalist to own implementation end-to-end.

This is not a front-end-only role. You will build polished storefronts and make sure payments, WooCommerce, suppliers, tracking, analytics, email/SMS, deployment and QA work properly in production.

Full-Time Expectations This is a full-time role. We expect consistent availability, strong responsiveness, and overlap with U.S. working hours so client builds keep moving quickly.

What You Will Own

• Build custom Next.js, React and TypeScript storefronts
• Connect the frontend to WooCommerce products, carts, checkout and order flows
• Integrate payment gateways, supplier APIs, webhooks and tracking
• Set up domains, DNS, staging, production deployments and environment variables
• Install analytics such as GA4, Meta Pixel/CAPI, PostHog or similar
• Build error handling, retries, logging and QA checks
• Test the full flow from payment to Woo order to supplier to tracking to customer notifications
• Improve reusable store templates so each deployment gets faster

Tech You Should Know

Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, WooCommerce, REST APIs, webhooks, payment integrations, Git/GitHub, Cloudflare or similar, environment variables/secrets, analytics tracking, and transactional email/SMS APIs.

Important

You need a good eye for design. We do not want technically functional but ugly ecommerce stores. You should spot poor spacing, weak typography, bad mobile layouts and generic-looking design. We use Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and similar AI coding tools. AI-assisted development is fine, but you must understand architecture, debugging, security, integrations, testing and production systems.
