Dispatch Manager (US Trucking Company)

Nomad Group Holding is looking for an experienced Dispatch Manager to lead and develop our Dispatch Department within a US trucking operation.

We are looking for more than just a strong dispatcher. We need a manager who can organize and lead the team, monitor the department’s operational and financial performance, resolve complex issues, and ensure stable and efficient dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the dispatch team and distribute dispatcher workload;
• Maintain dispatch coverage and minimize uncovered trucks;
• Monitor dispatcher performance and dispatch service quality;
• Track revenue, expenses, lost days, and other operational performance indicators;
• Monitor detention, TONU, layover, and related cases;
• Resolve escalated and complex driver and broker issues;
• Monitor route planning and communication quality;
• Identify recurring dispatcher mistakes and implement corrective actions;
• Reassign trucks and adjust dispatcher workload when necessary;
• Prepare and provide weekly dispatch reports to management;
• Ensure accurate documentation and records across Company systems;
• Coordinate with Safety, Fleet, Accounting, Claims, and other departments;
• Coordinate DOT/HOS/compliance-related matters with Safety;
• Resolve critical and blocked operational cases in a timely manner.

The role is responsible for monitoring revenue, expenses, lost days, uncovered trucks, detention, TONU, layover, driver complaints, broker issues, and recurring dispatch problems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in US Trucking / Dispatch Operations;
• Experience as a Dispatch Manager, Dispatch Team Lead, or Senior Dispatcher;
• Strong understanding of dispatch workflows and US trucking operations;
• Hands-on experience with load boards and broker/driver communication;
• Knowledge of HOS, DOT, and FMCSA requirements;
• Experience with DAT, TruckStop, and broker portals;
• Strong leadership and management skills;
• Ability to lead a team and take ownership of department results;
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• Analytical mindset and ability to work with operational and financial performance metrics;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• English proficiency: C1 or higher.

Our dispatch environment includes Bitrix24, 3CX, corporate Gmail, DAT, TruckStop, broker portals, DataTruck, Samsara, ELD systems, and other US trucking tools.

Working Conditions: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Chicago time (Central Time) Work format: Remote Compensation: discussed after the interview
