Plant Manager

A medium-sized Western Ukrainian manufacturing company specializing in wire harness production is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead its manufacturing operations in Northwestern Ukraine.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop Production, Quality and Engineering functions, while supporting HR, Finance, NPI and Logistics.
• Ensure efficient and scalable plant operations integrated with the company’s EU manufacturing network.
• Manage the supply chain from logistics through production and develop supporting functions.
• Drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency, quality and operational performance.
• Ensure achievement of key plant KPIs, including Health & Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Delivery.
• Implement and continuously develop Lean Management and QRM practices.
• Lead change management and process optimization initiatives.
• Ensure effective QA/QC processes in line with customer requirements.
• Manage financial and administrative activities, including the tolling system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax, customs and work safety requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in technical or economic field; production engineering is preferred.
• Relevant experience as a Plant Manager, Managing Director, Production Manager or Engineering Manager.
• Experience managing production, logistics and quality teams, preferably 50+ employees.
• Experience in Lean Management and QRM methodologies.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, change management and operational processes.
• Experience in wire harness/cable production, electronics, contract manufacturing or other complex, flexible manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of tax and customs regulations and occupational safety requirements.
• Ukrainian and English — required; Polish — an advantage.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Analytical, hands-on and action-oriented approach.
• High level of commitment, energy and flexibility, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and value streams.
