Legal Counsel

We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team and support our growing business.

This is a full-time position. We welcome applications from candidates based in Ukraine or those who have relocated to Europe.

Requirements:

● 3+ years of professional legal experience, preferably as an in-house Legal Counsel in an

IT company, technology business, or international law firm.

● University degree in Law.

● Strong understanding of commercial, corporate, and contract law.

● Practical experience with international legal matters, particularly involving the EU, the

US, Canada (Ontario), and Cyprus.

● Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements,

including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, service agreements, and partnership agreements.

● Understanding of corporate governance, corporate structuring, and cross-border

transactions.

● Knowledge of intellectual property rights, software licensing, confidentiality, and data

protection regulations.

● Familiarity with IT services, software development, cloud services, and outsourcing

business models.

● Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate legal and commercial risks while maintaining a

practical, business-oriented approach.

● Strong legal research, analytical, contract drafting, and negotiation skills.

● Ability to work independently, manage multiple legal matters simultaneously, and

collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.

● English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong legal English skills, particularly

in contract drafting, legal research, and professional communication.

Nice to Have:

● Previous in-house legal experience in an international IT services or software

development company.

● Experience with corporate reorganizations, international subsidiaries, and intercompany

arrangements.

● Familiarity with GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related compliance requirements.

● Understanding of employment law and independent contractor arrangements across

multiple jurisdictions.

● Experience using AI-powered tools for legal research, contract analysis, drafting, and

other legal workflows.

● Strong proficiency with standard office software, document management systems, and

digital collaboration tools.
