Truck Dispatcher (Dry Van)

Lemberg Group Inc. is a transportation company operating in the U.S. freight transportation industry. We are looking for an experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our team and take responsibility for managing assigned trucks, booking profitable loads, and coordinating daily driver operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned trucks.
• Source and book profitable loads, taking into account RPM (Revenue Per Mile) and overall gross revenue.
• Plan routes, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers regarding current loads, route changes, and operational matters.
• Track shipments in transit and proactively resolve delays, disruptions, and unexpected issues.
• Negotiate rates with brokers and identify opportunities to improve load profitability.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with brokers, customers, and internal teams.
• Handle transportation documentation, including Rate Confirmations (RCs) and Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
• Monitor driver compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements and applicable FMCSA regulations.
• Verify broker and load information before confirming shipments.
• Collaborate with the Safety and Fleet departments to promptly resolve issues affecting drivers and equipment.
• Keep load information up to date and ensure timely status updates throughout each shipment.
• Monitor the performance of assigned trucks, minimize downtime, and maximize revenue.
