Fuel Optimization Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor diesel fuel prices and available fuel discounts across the United States.
• Identify the most cost-effective fuel stations based on prices, discounts, locations, and drivers' routes.
• Monitor drivers' fueling activities and provide recommendations on where to refuel to maximize savings.
• Track fuel card discounts, rebates, and other available fuel savings programs.
• Analyze actual fuel costs after discounts to identify the most competitive fueling options.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to ensure fuel stops align with planned routes and cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify missed discounts, inefficient fueling practices, and opportunities to reduce fuel expenses.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to compare prices, analyze data, and work with large volumes of information.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• English proficiency sufficient to work with U.S.-based services and resources.
• Previous experience in trucking, logistics, fuel management, or fuel card programs is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the company’s internal processes.
