Mission of the Role

Biohack Your World is an interview podcast featuring long-form conversations with doctors, researchers, founders, scientists and authors who are pushing the boundaries of human potential. We publish 100 episodes per year across audio and video, and we’re building out a content operation that treats every interview as a multi-platform story.

We’re looking for a Content Manager to own the editorial pipeline end to end — from the moment a guest is confirmed to the moment the episode has been published, clipped, promoted, and measured. That means managing the production calendar, shaping how each episode is framed and packaged, directing repurposing across channels, and keeping a consistent editorial standard.

This is a hands-on role. You will coordinate as well as write, edit, and get into the publishing tools yourself. You’ll also have real influence over editorial direction — which stories we chase, how we frame episodes, and what we improve next.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial Pipeline Management

• Own the editorial calendar: track episodes from planning through writing, recording, editing, and release
• Coordinate with hosts, producers, editors, and guests to hit publish dates reliably
• Maintain a rolling slate of upcoming episodes and flag risks early
• Manage the guest pipeline alongside guest booker: confirmations, prep materials, briefing docs, follow-ups
• Manage writers, editors, and designers
• Maintain the asset library: masters, stems, artwork, transcripts, signed releases

Packaging & Distribution

• Write and edit episode titles, descriptions, show notes, chapter markers, and pull quotes
• Develop framing and hooks for each episode in collaboration with team and host
• Oversee script production and work with teams to turn transcripts into blog posts, social segments, newsletters, and website placement

• Direct a clip strategy: identify the strongest moments and brief editors on cut-downs for YouTube Shorts / TikTok / Instagram / LinkedIn.
• Manage publishing across YouTube, and publishing platform

Analytics & Growth

• Track downloads, watch time, retention curves, subscriber growth, and channel-level performance
• Produce a monthly performance report with clear takeaways and recommended tests
• Run experiments on titles, thumbnails, clip formats, and release timing

What We’re Looking For

• 3−5 years in content, editorial, media production, or podcast operations
• Excellent writing and editing instincts — you can sharpen a weak hook and cut filler without losing voice
• Demonstrated experience running a publishing calendar with multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with podcast hosting and distribution and podcast analytics dashboards
• Comfort with audio/video editing workflows at a coordination level (Descript / Riverside / Premiere / Audition)
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and social platform best practices
• Ability to give and receive editorial feedback without ego
• Strong project management habits and a strength for detail work.
