.NET Backend Developer — Shop-Express February 2024 – Present · Remote
Ukrainian SaaS platform for building and running online stores.
AI-assisted store migration service. Built a service that extracts a merchant’s catalog, orders and customer data
from an external e-commerce platform and transforms it to match our data model and constraints. Replaced
several days of manual data transfer per merchant with an automated full copy of the source store.
LLM agents for merchant automation. Designed and shipped background agents on the OpenAI API for
abandoned-cart recovery, spam and fraudulent-order filtering, and post-purchase satisfaction surveys, plus agents
for data parsing and analytics.
AI-driven lead aggregation. System that collects and scores potential-customer data used to target marketing
campaigns.
Payments and fiscal compliance. Integrated 8 payment and fiscal providers — Stripe, PayPal, Monobank,
PrivatBank, MonoCheckout, WayForPay, Portmone, Checkbox — including installment payment flows, idempotent
transaction handling and reconciliation against provider reports.
Store provisioning. Reworked the new-store creation flow, making it noticeably faster and eliminating a recurring
class of setup failures.
Internal admin panel. Built the backend and admin tooling used daily by the support and sales teams to manage
merchants and resolve incidents.
Integrations and messaging. Hardened SalesDrive, KeyCRM and Torgsoft integrations with retry and error-
handling policies and structured logging; built background jobs (Hosted Services, Quartz.NET) and inter-service
communication over RabbitMQ / Azure Service Bus; introduced Redis caching on hot read paths.
Merchant notification bot. Telegram bot delivering real-time store events to shop owners — new orders, order
status changes, abandoned carts, customer registrations — and critical operational alerts.
Performance and modernisation. Profiled and optimised API endpoints, SQL queries and EF Core access paths;
refactored legacy modules and migrated the codebase from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 10.
