I had 1 main dispatcher whom i saw assisting. I had +-10 trucks that i was working with. My duties were: to send load details to the driver, to comunnicate with the brokers on any issues and updates on the loads + request extra$ (lumpers/detentions), comunication with the drivers if any issues occur, enterring and updating all loads in TMS. Worked with dry van loads only. Also worked with OTR, regional and local drivers.

My job was to communicate
with drivers and solve their problems, such as: assistance with a logbooks, on the road breakdowns, issues at the pick ups/deliveries, accidents on the road, etc. Also I was handling with the updates for the brokers and customers regarding current loads. After 9 month of hard work I was promoted to a team leader. My job duties were almost the same, but I had 2 more people in my team for whom I was responsible for. After 1 year of working as a Support Representative I was promoted to a Director of my department. I had 12 people in my team. My responsibilities were: to make sure my department works flawlessly; to check if all the tasks were done correctly and on time; to create a work schedule for the following month for my team; to make a payroll for each member of Afterhours department; to work with other departmenеs on a common projects, etc.
