About me

My approach to garment creation combines technical
craftsmanship with conceptual thinking. I have a good
understanding of garment construction, precision, and materials
through hands-on experience, and my studies have helped me
develop a more structured approach to working with ideas and
solving design problems. I am especially interested in the
product development process, where concepts are turned into
well-considered garments through the integration of
construction knowledge, functionality, and design intent.

The concept is inspired by the aesthetic of Vivienne Westwood
bridalwear. I developed the design, selected appropriate fabrics, carried
out pattern construction, and completed the sewing process.
Reconstruction

Contemporary reconstruction of a traditional Poltava kersetka based on
Ukrainian archival research.
Process included adaptation of traditional pattern systems to a
contemporary body, development of sewing techniques, and sewing.
