Employment:

03.04.2021 – till present (to be redundant from 01.05.2026)
Senior Customer Support manager at Travelhelper outsourcing project serving successively
two Italian companies operated under the same management: Offerbeds and Sitravel.

This is a remote job to provide B2B customer support for the reservations made for the hotels
mostly in the United States, but also in the United Kingdom and continental Europe,
Australia, Japan, and the Middle East.

Main duties: manual checks of all reservations arrived through the system, taking calls from
clients (strictly from the companies, not the guests), processing emails (via Freshdesk) with
modification requests, additional services to be provided, exceptional cancellations and
refunds, and so on. The following communication with suppliers. Calls and emails to the
hotels if needed.
This business was recently heavily affected by the Iran war, as many initial reservations were
made by the Middle East guests travelling to the US and Europe. As a result, this outsourcing
project is going to be terminated right now as the mother company has just lost one of its
major clients from the Middle East.
All outsourcing employees have just been notified about redundancy; therefore, I am looking
for a new job.

14.03.2018 – 01.04.2021

Customer support agent, Senior Customer support agent at the “Runway Ukraine” enterprise,
Ukrainian registration N 38748256 (was transferred into “Webhelp Kiev” enterprise,
Ukrainian registration N 43560533), the outsourcing project as a joint call centre for
Norwegian Airlines (Norwegian Air Shuttle), the second largest European low-cost airline,
until 2021 - the second biggest airline flying out of JFK, the largest airport in New York, and
in the world in general).
Main duties: basically, that was the classic Customer support, answering calls from
the airline passengers with their enquiries, such as cancelled flights options, booking of new
tickets, special requests like children travelling alone, animals transfer and so on.
As usual, I worked late shifts as I mostly answered calls from the US customers, and as they
said, my English and manner of speaking are close enough to the UK and the US people.
The job was terminated as the Norwegian airline, being affected by Covid restrictions, went
into bankruptcy procedure for its international flights division, and concentrated on the
internal European flights only, providing customer support via their own smaller calling
center in Riga, Latvia. As a result, all Webhelp offices serving the Norwegian airline contract
had been closed completely, and all employees of the Kyiv office where I work were made
redundant.
