PROJECTS
[ 20/09/2025 – 22/12/2025 ]
Life cycle assessment of native starch from reclaimed potato starch: a circular production pathway The research was
dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of by-product starch produced at the Duynie subsidiary of Cosun, with a focus on its
environmental impact and ecological implications. The study also examined approaches to green automation in industrial
processes and equipment, alongside detailed financial modeling and economic assessment. Furthermore, it included an analysis
2/3
of market dynamics and competitors, as well as the exploration of alternative and innovative methods for the production,
utilization, and commercialization of by-product starch.
[ 04/10/2025 – 12/12/2025 ]
Transatlantic project on life cycle assessment The study focused on the environmental impact of plant-based and animal-
based proteins, including their contribution to global warming and overall climate conditions. It involved an analysis of arguments
for and against each type of protein source, as well as a comparative evaluation of their long-term effects on human health, with
particular emphasis on overall well-being and health improvement.
[ 23/09/2025 – 09/12/2025 ]
Jellyfied milk halle techno The project was dedicated to the study and optimization of a laboratory-based manufacturing
process, focused on the development of a batch production line for gelled cocoa-milk desserts. It encompassed a full “cradle-to-
gate” analysis of production workflows, including both individual and team-based shift operations within a controlled
manufacturing environment. Particular attention was given to the monitoring and evaluation of machinery and equipment
performance, ensuring process stability and reproducibility. The research further involved comprehensive organoleptic and
microscopic analysis of initial production batches in order to assess product quality, structural properties, and consistency. A key
objective of the project was the identification and implementation of alternative approaches aimed at accelerating production
efficiency, alongside the integration and testing of new equipment under existing operational conditions. In addition, the study
included detailed financial assessments, covering cost and revenue analysis, as well as iterative product testing based on newly
developed technological solutions. A comparative matrix analysis of all experimental trials was conducted to evaluate
performance outcomes systematically and to synthesize the most efficient, scalable, and economically viable production
strategies. The final outcome of the project was the formulation of optimized solutions aimed at improving both operational
workflow and overall production efficiency.
