Khrystyna Shynkar
QA Engineer

Summary of I am a QA Engineer with 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance
Qualifications across web, mobile, desktop, API, and database-driven systems, with additional
experience acting as a QA Lead on projects of varying scale.
I have been responsible for the full QA lifecycle, including requirements analysis, risk
assessment, test strategy and planning, test design, execution, defect management, and
release support within Agile/Scrum teams. On projects, I often take ownership of QA
activities, coordinate testing efforts, and support alignment between QA, development,
and business stakeholders to ensure predictable and high-quality deliveries. I have also
been involved in defining when, what, and why should be automated, helping to shape
automation priorities and scope from a QA perspective in collaboration with automation
engineers and the wider team.
My experience covers web applications, mobile applications (iOS and Android),
desktop software, API testing, database testing, and virtualized environments. I also
have strong experience in testing ETL processes from a QA perspective, including
validating data extraction, transformation logic, and data loading into target systems. My
focus is on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and correct
implementation of business rules across data flows and reporting outputs.
Alongside project work, I have contributed to educational programs as a QA expert
and mentor, helping engineers strengthen their testing skills and quality mindset.
I enjoy investigating complex systems, finding critical issues before they reach
production, and contributing to the delivery of reliable software products.
