experience
Project: Tutorly

Role: UX/UI Designer

Project Duration: April - June 2026

Tutorly - Marketplace and workspace for tutors and students

End goal - a single platform for finding a tutor, booking lessons, and communicating

Responsibilities:

Conducted a competitive analysis of existing tutoring platforms, identifying key UX gaps (limited search filters, no built-in chat)
and strengths to build on, such as accessibility-aware search that supports students with ADHD and dyslexia.

Surveyed 21 users (6 tutors, 15 students), forming 4 key personas and identifying 3 core pain points - scheduling difficulties,
unreliable reviews, and trouble finding a qualified tutor.

Built a tutor search system with advanced filtering (subject, price, interests) and a favorites list, shortening the path from search
to candidate selection.

Designed the user flow for finding a tutor and booking a trial lesson - search → tutor card (key info, chat with tutor, full profile
view, video intro, trial lesson booking), just 2 steps instead of the typical 6–7 in comparable products.

Added a built-in chat with file sharing and shared folders, removing the need for third-party apps.

Built a calendar and lesson management system with weekly/monthly views and one-click Zoom/Google Meet integration.

Created a design system (Nunito Sans typography, dark theme with a single green accent color, reusable component library) to
support interface scalability.

Project: Ormi

Role: UX/UI Designer

Project Duration: April - June 2026

Ormi - Food delivery app

End goal - stand out in a highly competitive market through a group ordering format

Responsibilities:

Defined project goals based on business needs - revenue growth through restaurant partnerships, user acquisition and
retention, organic growth through a referral program.

Built 2 personas based on user segments (group orderers, frequent travelers), uncovering pain points - limited dish selection,
inaccurate deliveries, inconsistent restaurant quality.

Designed the main ordering flow (search → dish → payment → confirmation) and a separate group ordering flow (invite →
dish selection → individual payment → tracking).

Developed a group ordering feature with split payments and live tracking to increase average order value and support the
referral strategy.

Created a complete UI kit (SF Pro typography, orange-green brand palette, reusable dish/order/restaurant cards, buttons,
inputs).

Designed 15+ key screens - onboarding, sign-up, home feed, location selection, group ordering, real-time delivery tracking,
favorites/combo sets.
