• Designed and maintained data processing pipelines for experimental sensor data. (Migrated existing ones from MATLAB to Python)
• Automated end-to-end data workflows, including data ingestion, cleaning, validation, transformation.
• Processed noisy real-world data, handling missing values, outliers, distribution shifts, sensor calibration.
• Developed and evaluated machine learning models (regression, classification) for signal interpretation and anomaly detection.
Key Achievements:
• Designed and fully implemented 3 end-to-end systems from physical samples and sensor measurements to final predictive models within grant-funded
projects (all successfully accepted by stakeholders)
• Achieved ~3–6 HV (Vickers hardness) prediction error on real-world sensor data in the 500–800 HV range (<1% relative error)
• Developed reusable modular components across multiple projects, reducing development time for similar tasks.
• Owned the full ML lifecycle: data processing, feature preparation, model development, validation, result interpretation and visualization.
