Ukrainian Unified Data-Processing Pipeline Tool (Python / Tkinter)
English • Designed and built a four-stage desktop pipeline application for a large-scale infrastructure
attachment survey program (NDA client) covering hundreds of geographic zones: raw-file
preprocessing to a standard template, Excel-to-CSV conversion, CSV-to-GeoJSON conversion,
and automated exceptions extraction.
• Iterated the tool through multiple major versions, restructuring the UI into independent Pipeline
Runner / Tools / Exceptions workspaces with a dark theme.
• Built a robust header-resolution engine (exact match → custom mapping → alias dictionary →
suffix rules → fuzzy matching) to reconcile inconsistent column naming across hundreds of source
files.
• Implemented broadcast-column logic, cable-naming normalization, and slot-remapping rules, plus
full template-styling compliance (colors, borders, column widths).
• Authored an 18-page reference manual and packaged the tool as a standalone Windows executable
via PyInstaller.
Survey Data QC & Validation Suite
• Built a reusable CLI script and companion Tkinter GUI application to batch-scan survey Excel
files across many zones and flag records missing required identifiers, with an accompanying user
guide.
• Developed and documented a rules-based QC tool that validates infrastructure attachment survey
records against client-specific business rules, in collaboration with a fellow team member.
Spatial Data Quality & GIS Automation Scripts
• Developed a QGIS duplicate-point detection tool comparing pole/asset locations across GeoJSON
layers using spatial indexing (EPSG:3857), exporting confirmed duplicates as standalone
GeoJSON layers.
• Built a batch GeoJSON quality-fixer to resolve mixed field-type issues (e.g., numeric vs. string
identifiers) and ensure correct CRS metadata and naming conventions.
• Created supporting utilities including file/folder sorting scripts, a QGIS project (.qgs)
builder/updater, an XLSX-to-CSV batch converter, and a CSV-to-GeoJSON converter with
selectable CRS (WGS84 default).
CAD / LiDAR / DXF Data Support
• Produced site plans, schematics, and drawing deliverables in MicroStation DGN format, integrated
into broader GIS project pipelines
• Managed MicroStation-to-other-format data interoperability (DGN ↔ DXF/DWG), including
diagnosing and resolving conversion issues between MicroStation and downstream CAD/GIS
tools
• Point-cloud classification in TerraScan – ground, vegetation, buildings, and utility/infrastructure
classes from raw LiDAR returns
• Feature extraction from classified point clouds (poles, wires, vegetation encroachment, structures)
to support infrastructure survey deliverables
