Head of Property Insurance software development Remote, 08/2018 – 02/2022
Key achievements:
● Turned around an unprofitable Property & Casualty (P&C) software development business unit to
profitability within 6 months; eliminated maintenance SLA penalties, stabilized support KPIs above
the 700-point target, and scaled the volume of delivered client requirements.
● Reduced software defects by over 10x and transitioned the team from chronic SLA breaches to
predictable, penalty-free delivery. Achieved this by establishing clear code ownership, introducing
test automation, and decoupling Tier 1 support.
● Built and led an 8-member cross-functional team of developers, business analysts, and QA
engineers. Overhauled development workflows, established code quality ownership, and optimized
planning and client engagement processes. Which led to a significant reduction in errors and an
increase in the volume of fulfilled client requirements by 29%.
● Maintained 100% team retention during a critical project workload deficit by building a product
improvement backlog, initiating new client solutions, and cross-training the team on adjacent
insurance domains.
● Transformed client engagement from an opaque, conflict-driven process into a structured,
manageable framework; involved the client in backlog prioritization, introduced data-backed

● Led the end-to-end migration of an enterprise product from Oracle to PostgreSQL, covering
database schema, server layer, reference data migration, and rewriting DB packages. As a result,
the product successfully achieved official state registration.

Chief Software Engineer 03/2015 – 08/2018
● Engineered a custom multi-threaded migration engine from scratch to successfully transfer a high-
volume dataset of complex life insurance contracts where standard Oracle tools failed. This solution
enabled a successful test migration, including complex multi-year corporate contracts involving
thousands of insured persons, preserved data integrity, and fulfilled a critical technical prerequisite
to secure a major enterprise contract.
● Accelerated the processing of large group life insurance contracts by over 10x; identified a systemic
performance bottleneck, fully rewrote the risk calculation algorithm for database-level execution, and

implemented parallel processing. A critical performance issue was resolved, allowing the software
implementation phase to be completed.

Software Engineer 09/2012 – 10/2014
● Development of custom software modifications on the Master Enterprise Seven platform. This is
ORM - system that uses Oracle or MS SQL Server DB for storing information. It is using Object
Oriented Delphi Script for application development and Master SQL (SQL like language) for data
manipulation. This system is a base for many solutions in Insurance business. 2 large projects were
successfully completed.
● Support and addition of new functionality to the software used in the Chornomorsk commercial port.

● Support and development of the RM Production software. This CRM system monitors and manages
most of the company's business processes, including TV program production, purchasing and
selling video and audio content, managing content licenses, translating content into other languages,
editing content, managing partner agreements, and more.
● Developed a module for integrating RM Production with WinTV (software for creating a television
broadcast grid), which significantly simplified the process and reduced the user's labor costs by 2.5
times.

Illichivsk Oil and Fat Plant Chornomorsk, Ukraine

● Developed a software model for each of the 11 production lines. The main purpose of this model is
to forecast the consumption of non-core production resources (such as electricity, hot and cold water,
nitrogen, etc.). What made it possible to optimize the costs of electricity production by 20%.

● Several projects for solution one global task for company and their branch offices. It is subscribers
accounting, printing subscriber receipt, receiving all kinds of reports and etc. I had developed more

● Developed project «Not Finished Production Estimation». This project shows the estimation of not
finished production in real-time or on set date. The user can find one or several details of products or
completed product, and in real time looks where they are right now. (on what workshop, storage and
etc.). Obtaining data necessary for production planning and analysis has been reduced by 3 times.
