PROFILE
Junior electronics engineer focused on embedded systems and precision measurement electronics. Designed, assembled,
and brought up a custom dual-channel photometer based on ESP32 and a 24-bit delta-sigma ADC, covering schematic
design, PCB layout, analog front-end development, firmware, hardware debugging, and measurement data acquisition.
Interested in embedded systems, instrumentation, sensor electronics, and biomedical measurement devices.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Embedded: C, ESP-IDF, ESP32, GPIO, UART, SPI, register-level peripheral drivers, FreeRTOS
Analog Front-End: Photodiode TIA, op-amp circuits, biasing, high-impedance nodes, analog filtering
Data Acquisition: ADS1220, 24-bit delta-sigma ADCs, differential measurement, dark calibration, digital averaging/filtering
Hardware & PCB: Schematic design, 2-layer mixed-signal PCB layout, board bring-up, SMD soldering/rework, continuity/
voltage debugging
Tools & KiCad, Git/GitHub, digital multimeter, ESP-IDF toolchain
Instrumentation:

KEY PROJECT
Dual-Channel LSPR Photometer — Independent Hardware & Firmware Project
Repository: github.com/meltissia/Dual-Channel-LSPR-Photometer
• Mixed-Signal PCB: Designed a custom 2-layer PCB around ESP32-WROOM-32, ADS1220 24-bit ADC, AD8616 dual
op-amp TIA, Hamamatsu S1087 photodiodes, and onboard battery/power circuitry.
• Analog Front-End: Developed a dual-channel photodiode AFE with 5.1 MΩ / 10 pF TIA feedback network and ~1.42 V
bias for single-supply operation.
• Low-Level Driver: Implemented ADS1220 driver in C with register configuration, WREG/RREG read-back verification,
DRDY polling with timeout, and 24-bit conversion readout.
• Hardware Bring-Up & Errata: Debugged unstable hardware SPI during bring-up and implemented a deterministic
GPIO bit-bang SPI workaround with validated timing and conversion verification. Documented Rev.1.0 hardware/
firmware errata and Rev.1.1 redesign requirements.
• Signal Processing & DSP: Implemented channel multiplexing, dark calibration/offset correction, sample averaging,
moving-average filtering, ADC-code-to-µV conversion, and channel ratio calculation.
• Data Acquisition & Output: Developed structured UART/CSV measurement streaming and collected Rev.1.0 bring-up
datasets for acquisition-pipeline verification.

EDUCATION
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Expected 2028
B.Sc. in Biology and Biochemistry
Relevant focus: sensor electronics, measurement systems, biomedical & physical instrumentation.
