Self-taught Unity developer with hands-on experience shipping two complete horror games end-to-end —
from gameplay systems and AI to lighting, shaders, and Steam release preparation. Comfortable across
both URP and HDRP pipelines. Currently teaching programming to kids, which has sharpened the ability
to explain technical concepts clearly. Looking for a remote Junior Unity Developer role to grow within a
team.
PROJECTS
The two projects below are the main body of work. Several smaller casual games are also available on
GameJolt and GitHub.
THE ONE WHO — Psychological Horror Game ~1 year in development · Steam
Solo developer · Unity, HDRP
• Built the full game solo in HDRP, including lighting, snow and environmental shader work
• Implemented enemy AI with patrol/search behavior and player detection logic
• Designed physical interaction systems: key-based door opening and a destructible wall, both driven
through Animator
• Set up Cinemachine camera rigs for a depth effect and walk/turn sway to strengthen immersion
• Built puzzles tied to spatial audio cues, item discovery, and story logic across multiple interconnected
locations
• Integrated Steam Audio for spatial sound design; deliberately avoided jumpscares in favor of
atmosphere
• Prepared the full Steam store page (assets, description, coming-soon listing)
Android Horror Game Personal project · Published on GameJolt
Solo developer · Unity, URP · open-source on GitHub
• Built and optimized the game for mobile performance using URP and Shader Graph
• Implemented enemy AI with patrol, search, and door-breaking behavior driven by a state-based
"thinking" system
• Built save/load system for progress persistence, cutscenes, and a custom menu UI
• Designed puzzles tied to sound cues and item-finding, with Steam Audio for sound design
• Published full source code on GitHub
EXPERIENCE
Programming Teacher ~1 year
• Teach programming to kids aged 6–16, covering topics including Unity and C++
• Break down technical concepts into clear, age-appropriate lessons for a wide range of skill levels
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Rendering pipelines: URP (mobile-optimized, Android horror project) and HDRP (THE ONE WHO) —
custom shaders built in Shader Graph, including a snow effect and mobile-optimized lighting/shadows
• Gameplay programming (C#): enemy AI as a state machine (patrol → search → door-break/attack),
coroutines for timed gameplay logic, async/await for background loading, LINQ for data/collection
handling
• Systems built from scratch: save/load progress system, physical door-opening (key-triggered,
Animator-driven), destructible wall, sound-based and item-finding puzzle logic
• Camera & feel: Cinemachine rigs for depth and walk/turn sway to reinforce horror atmosphere
• Architecture: MVC/MVVM separation between game logic and UI, Singleton for global managers,
State Machine for AI and game-flow states
• Audio: Steam Audio integration for spatial sound design in both shipped projects
• Tools: Git/GitHub for version control across all public projects
• Languages: English (B1–B2, comfortable reading docs and technical communication)
