PROFILE
Front-end Developer with 2 years of commercial experience building React/Next.js applications in TypeScript, gained
at SoftServe (06/2024–07/2026) across two team-based projects. On a volunteer education platform, owned key UI
functionality within a four-person team — including a bilingual (UA/EN) Next.js setup, internal UI component library
work, and Nginx/CI-CD deployment. On a corporate scheduling application, contributed to the Redux Toolkit state
architecture for the schedule module and built an Excel-to-schedule parser with inline editing. Comfortable across the
full delivery cycle, including performance optimization, JWT-based authentication, and Linux VPS deployment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Frontend: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React · Next.js · HTML5 · CSS3 / SCSS / Tailwind CSS · Redux
Toolkit · Zustand · REST API · GraphQL · WebSocket · Axios · i18next · SEO optimization · React Hook
Form · Zod · React Query · TanStack Query · Webpack / Vite
Backend / DevOps: NestJS · Nginx · Linux VPS · Swagger · CI/CD · Docker (basic) · AWS
Databases: PostgreSQL · MySQL · MongoDB · Type ORM
Tools: Git / GitHub · Jira · Figma · Postman · Jest
WORK EXPERIENCE
SoftServe Front-end Developer | 06/2024 – 07/2026
Corporate Scheduling Application 05/2025 – 07/2026 Next.js · TypeScript · Redux Toolkit · REST API · xlsx ·
NestJS · PostgreSQL · Tailwind CSS
• Contributed to the Redux Toolkit state architecture for the schedule module — defined ScheduleEvent and
ScheduleOrder types, slice actions, and a normalized (byId/allIds) store structure, including a dedicated reducer
that reconciles local unsaved edits with periodic server syncs without data loss or UI flicker.
• Built an Excel-to-schedule parser: file uploads via react-dropzone, server-side parsing of .xlsx files through
Next.js API routes, and an interactive table with inline editing of the parsed data — removing the need for
manual schedule entry.
• Refactored the Sidebar navigation — replaced several hardcoded, per-view configs with a single component
driven by dynamic, context-aware logic.
• Debugged and fixed a bug where the schedule slice generated record IDs in a format the backend didn't expect,
which silently broke the save flow; added the missing test coverage for that code path.
• Profiled and optimized rendering performance of the schedule table using React DevTools — wrapped cell
components in React.memo with memoized props to eliminate unnecessary re-renders on state updates.
• Collaborated with the team, participated in code discussions, reviewed pull requests using Git, and fostered
teamwork through clear communication
Key Achievement: Delivered the two most complex pieces of the schedule module — the Redux Toolkit state design
and the Excel-to-schedule parser — from data modelling through to UI integration.
Volunteering Platform — shveinarota.org 06/2024 – 04/2025 Next.js · TypeScript · REST API · JWT · Google
Maps API · MySQL · NestJS · Nginx · Linux
Worked within a shared front-end codebase as part of a four-person team, owning key UI functionality and
infrastructure tasks:
• Split pages between Server and Client Components to preserve SEO for learning materials and keep first-load
times (FCP) fast, and used next/image and next/font to optimize media and fonts.
• Set up UA/EN internationalization with Next.js middleware and localized routing, organized translations into
separate JSON namespaces to keep the bundle size down, and handled pluralization and dynamic-value
interpolation in translated text.
• Extended the shared internal UI component library with a focus on reusability and accessibility (a11y).
• Built complex forms with React Hook Form and Zod validation, handling loading/error/success states for REST
API interactions.
• Configured Nginx (reverse proxying, SSL certificates, cache headers) and took part in setting up the CI/CD
deployment pipeline to the VPS.
• Collaborated with project stakeholders, participated in feature discussions, reviewed requirements, and
maintained clear communication
Key Achievement: Owned the platform’s bilingual (UA/EN) experience end-to-end — routing, translation architecture,
and UI polish — as part of the team that shipped it to production.
