WORK EXPERIENCE
SoftServe May 2026 – Aug. 2026
C/C++ Software Engineer Remote
● Built an SMTP client library on Boost.Asio, handling the TCP connection and the full SMTP command dialog (EHLO, MAIL FROM,
RCPT TO, DATA, QUIT), with a Builder-pattern message API and unit test coverage;
● Implemented four server-side IMAP session handlers — login, list messages, read message, quit — against a SQLite storage
layer, with an authentication state machine and mutex-protected per-client session state;
● Redesigned the SMTP send path to return a typed result instead of a boolean, separating protocol, connection, and application-
level failures, and covered it with unit tests;
● Integrated the SMTP SDK into the Qt desktop client, dispatching blocking network I/O off the UI thread and reporting delivery
results back to the interface;
● Wrote a cross-platform raw-socket (POSIX/Winsock) test server and client, and set up the GitHub Actions build-and-test pipeline
together with a multi-target CMake restructuring;
Undisclosed Client (NDA) Sep. 2025 – Feb. 2026
Python Developer Remote
● Developed a Python-based core dump analysis tool to extract and report per-function memory usage from crashed C++
processes;
● Parsed ELF binaries and core dump files to reconstruct stack frames and attribute heap allocations to individual call sites;
● Handled shared object mapping — resolving symbols across dynamically linked libraries using debug info and /proc memory
maps;
● Generated structured reports showing memory consumption per function, enabling faster post-mortem debugging workflows;
Undisclosed FinTech Company (NDA) Jan. 2025 – Jul. 2025
C++ Software Engineer Remote
● Designed and implemented high-performance C++ components for real-time financial data processing on multi-core Linux
systems;
● Built concurrent connection handling using std::thread and condition variables, managing multiple client sessions with graceful
shutdown and resource cleanup;
● Implemented TCP socket layer for low-latency data ingestion and order routing, profiling hot paths with gdb and perf;
● Resolved memory safety issues using LLVM sanitizers and Valgrind — use-after-free and race conditions in production builds;
● Maintained CMake build infrastructure and contributed to CI/CD pipeline improvements;

Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering Lviv, Ukraine
