SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER
● Shipped core features of Semrush Enterprise, the SEO and AI-visibility platform for large organizations built on 28B+
keywords across 142 markets, owning the slice from API contract and data model through to the React/TypeScript
interface used daily by enterprise customers behind $37M ARR.
● Built the frontend of Iris from zero to a release-ready production product as the primary frontend engineer. Iris is the AI
agent data platform that connects Search Console, GA4, and Semrush data and answers in verifiable charts and re-
runnable reports; delivered the charting and reporting layer with 12 chart types and highly configurable tables for low-
to-high data volumes, workspaces and user management, and the data source connection system.
● Maintained and tuned the Iris chatbot and its underlying AI model, adjusting prompts, response handling, and
integration with the data layer so agent answers stayed accurate and consistent as new data sources and chart types
were added.
● Designed the data-loading architecture for big-data dashboards: server-side aggregation, paginated and cached queries,
and a normalized client store, cutting dashboard load time by 40% and eliminating redundant network traffic.
● Built three complex backend features when the backend team was at capacity, maintaining product delivery speed and
shipping ahead of deadlines.
● Established Claude Code as a standard part of the team workflow for scaffolding, large-scale refactors, test generation,
and review, cutting turnaround on routine tasks by 70% while raising code consistency.
