SUMMARY
React developer, 5+ years in commercial frontend. Most of that time on one large B2B procurement platform for a
US company. I work close to the product: I clarify requirements with the PM, build the UI, connect it to the API, fix
what breaks after release and review other people's code. Before frontend I spent 12 years writing 1C software for
businesses in Kyiv, so I understand what the business wants from a screen. Looking for a remote Senior Frontend
role in a product team.

SKILLS
Core JavaScript (ES2015+), TypeScript, React 18 / 19, Redux Toolkit, React Query, React Router, Hooks,
Context API
UI Material UI (v5 / v7), Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, SCSS, HTML5, CSS3, responsive layouts,
design systems on CSS variables, Figma
Tooling Vite, Webpack, Babel, Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jira, Postman
Testing Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright (basic)
Also used REST, WebSocket, GraphQL (basic), Node.js, Next.js (familiar), Docker (basic), Angular 17 (one
project)
Practices performance work (Web Vitals, code splitting, memoization, virtualization), i18n, code review,
mentoring, Agile / Scrum

EXPERIENCE
FocalPoint, Frontend Engineer, promoted to Senior Frontend Engineer in April 2026
August 2021 – present · remote · US company · B2B procurement platform for enterprise clients
• Own features end-to-end: requirements with the PM, UI, API integration, QA support, fixes after release.
• Cut load time on the main screens by about 30%: cleaned up state management, split bundles by route,
memoized heavy components, moved long lists to virtualization.
• Built a shared internal UI kit together with the team and wrote the usage docs. New screens take less time to
assemble now.
• Added real-time status updates over WebSocket, so users stopped refreshing the page by hand.
• Review code from middle and junior developers and help them with React patterns and architecture decisions.
• Work with QA on reproducing bugs and on regression checks before each release.
• Daily standups and written communication in English with the US team.

• Wrote and maintained custom 1C modules for a retail network: reports, data exchange with MySQL, barcode
