ABOUT ME:
• Front-end Developer with a solid e-commerce background, building web applications for global brands
such as Royal Canin, H&M and Christian Louboutin, currently moving into React and Next.js and looking
for a React team to settle into and grow within;
• Solid foundation in React, Next.js and TypeScript, gained through in-depth learning, hands-on project work
and A/B experiments on live Next.js/React storefronts. Apply modern practices in component architecture,
state management, TypeScript typing and code quality;
• Strong core front-end skills in JavaScript (ES6+), semantic HTML and CSS, responsive and cross-browser
development, and clean, reusable, maintainable code. Fluent in converting Figma, Sketch and other design
mockups into precise front-end code;
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Languages: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML, CSS;
• Frameworks & Platforms: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Nuxt, Adobe Commerce / Magento 2;
• State & Data: Zustand, React Context, Redux Toolkit, Pinia, REST API, Fetch API, Axios, Firebase;
• Libraries: React Hooks, React Router, Vuetify, Swiper, Cropper.js, jQuery, Require.js, Knockout.js;
• Styling: Tailwind, Styled Components, CSS Modules, Sass, Less, Bootstrap, BEM;

PET PROJECTS:
WATCHES STORE github.com/Roman-Khilevych/Watches | watches-five-ruddy.vercel.app
Environment: Next.js 14 (App Router), React 18, TypeScript, Zustand, Tailwind CSS, Firestore, Vercel, Git.
Project Description: An e-commerce storefront built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel. Catalog, categories
and store configuration live in Firestore, so navigation, filters and home page content are driven by data.
Implementation: Designed the application architecture on the Next.js App Router: server components for data
fetching and SEO metadata (generateMetadata), client components only for interactive parts. Implemented
dynamic routing for nested categories and product pages by SKU, configurable breadcrumbs and custom 404 /
error pages. Built the category page with layered navigation: attribute and price filters with product counts,
active filter chips, sorting and grid view switch, all configurable from the store config in Firestore. Developed
custom hooks and Zustand stores for products, categories and configuration, defined TypeScript models with
strict typing and ESLint across the project, and optimized rendering with useMemo/useCallback, next/image and
next/font.
LIVEART — IMAGE EDITOR github.com/Roman-Khilevych/image-editor
Environment: Vue 3 (Composition API), TypeScript, Vuetify 3, Pinia, Cropper.js, Canvas API, Vite, ESLint.
Project Description: A browser-based non-destructive image editor on the Canvas API. The user uploads an
image, crops it, adjusts brightness, contrast and saturation with a real-time preview, applies filter presets and
exports the result as a lossless PNG or a replayable JSON recipe of operations; the original image is never
modified. Built in Vue 3 as a deliberate exercise in picking up a second framework with the same typed, data-
driven approach as the React project.
Implementation: Edits are modelled as data rather than pixels: an immutable source image plus a typed list of
operations run through a fixed pipeline, giving deterministic results and a one-click reset. Two renderers share
one source of truth, CSS filters for the live preview and an offscreen canvas for export, so both always match.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Valtech | SR. FRONTEND DEVELOPER October 2022 – June 2026
Front-end development of large-scale e-commerce platforms for international brands. Building and evolving
Adobe Commerce storefronts, from a full-scale redesign to long-term support with new features, with focus on
performance, accessibility (WCAG) and user experience. Actively gaining React, Next.js and TypeScript
experience through courses, hands-on pet projects and A/B experiments on production React storefronts.
ROYAL CANIN
Environment: AB Tasty, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MutationObserver, IntersectionObserver, Data Layer.
Project Description: Experimentation and personalization stream on Royal Canin's eCommerce platform. A/B
tests delivered through AB Tasty on top of Next.js/React, Angular and Adobe Commerce storefronts.
Responsibilities:
• Designed, developed and launched a wide range of A/B and multivariate experiments on AB Tasty across
key user journeys, with custom triggers, customer segments and KPI and event trackers;
• Delivered experiments in plain JavaScript injected on top of Next.js/React applications, traced how React
re-renders and discards injected nodes, and used MutationObserver and IntersectionObserver to apply
changes safely through re-renders, route transitions and dynamic content updates;
CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN
Project Description: Long-term support and evolution of Christian Louboutin's Adobe Commerce storefront.
Responsibilities:
• Provided ongoing support and front-end development across the entire storefront, delivering new features
such as a custom Store Pick-Up shipping method on checkout;
• Implemented accessibility improvements across the whole store, with semantic markup, ARIA attributes,
keyboard navigation, focus management and screen reader support, bringing pages closer to WCAG;
• Delivered site-wide performance optimizations to improve page load times and Core Web Vitals;
GILL CAPITAL (H&M ASIA)
Project Description: Full-scale redesign of H&M's e-commerce platform for the Asian market on Adobe
Commerce, rebuilding every page and component from design mockups, including a new checkout.
Responsibilities:
• Performed a large-scale redesign of the checkout flow, with a complete layout update, a separation between
Store Pick-Up and Delivery options and reworked shipping and payment components;
• Rebuilt the storefront pages from new design mockups, from the product detail page and search results to
the customer account area and global components, responsive and consistent in every browser;
Codifi | SR. ADOBE COMMERCE/MAGENTO FRONTEND DEVELOPER July 2021 – Sep 2022
Front-end development on several Adobe Commerce projects: a new store built from scratch based on design

standards, replacing copied core JavaScript and LESS files with mixins and a child theme and consolidating
styles behind shared variables.

ElasticSuite and Algolia search, one-page and multi-step checkouts and custom modules. Developed a shared
design system for the Hanes Australia portfolio (5 sites), a base theme, a component library and content
widgets, so each brand could be customized without duplicating work.
