I am a career switcher from law to IT. I hold a Master of Law, and my legal background gave me strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and the habit of working carefully with documentation and requirements. Since 2023 I have been learning Java consistently through SoftServe Academy and EPAM Campus courses. Since April 2026 I have been an intern at EPAM, building a Spring Boot microservices backend.

What I bring:

Hands-on experience with the full cycle of a backend service: from a layered architecture on plain Spring Core to secured, tested and containerized microservices
A habit of writing tests and readable code, and understanding why a solution works, not just that it works
Fast learning: I go through new technologies on my own and keep structured notes on Java/Spring concepts
Clear written and verbal communication in English (Upper-Intermediate, B2) and Ukrainian (native)
Pet project: Gym CRM System. This is a backend for managing trainees, trainers and trainings, built with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, PostgreSQL, Spring Security + JWT, Spring Cloud and ActiveMQ, and covered with JUnit 5 and Mockito tests.
