RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Visiting Researcher Åbo Akademie University
Feb 2026 – Mar 2026 | Turku, Finland
• Conducted electrochemical experiments for the development of an EIS-based approach to living-cell quantification.
• Investigated electrochemical responses to bacterial and mammalian cells under different experimental conditions.
• Performed cell-based experiments and analysed the relationship between cell concentration and electrochemical
signal response.
• Worked in an international multidisciplinary research environment, collaborating with researchers from
different scientific backgrounds.

Master’s Research Project Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv
Oct 2024 – May 2026 | Kyiv, Ukraine
• Developed a redox-probe-mediated electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) approach for the
quantification of living cells in hydrogel systems.
• Developed a hydrogel-based model system to investigate the relationship between cell concentration and
electrochemical impedance response.
• Designed and performed electrochemical experiments using screen-printed three-electrode systems and
ferro/ferricyanide redox probes.
• Optimised experimental conditions and performed calibration, quantitative data analysis, and interpretation of
impedance spectra.
• Evaluated the feasibility of the approach for label-free electrochemical cell quantification without electrode-
bound biorecognition elements.

Bachelor’s Research Project Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv
Oct 2023 – May 2024 | Kyiv, Ukraine

• Investigated substituted porphyrins and their metal complexes for optical sensing and enzyme mimicking
applications
• Applied UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy for kinetic studies and complex stability determination
• Evaluated catalyst activity and structure-property relationships

WORK EXPERIENCE
Analytical Chemist Assistant — L. I. Medved's Research Centre of Preventive Toxicology, Food and Chemical
Safety of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
Feb 2025 – Jun 2026 | Kyiv, Ukraine
• Performed sample preparation and GC-MS/MS trace analysis of persistent organic pollutants (POPs), including
organochlorine pesticides, dioxins and furans, in food, agricultural and environmental samples.
• Prepared agricultural samples for LC-MS determination of pesticide residues.
• Performed analytical method validation for trace-level determination of POPs in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025
requirements.
• Developed and optimised sample preparation and analytical workflows for trace contaminant analysis.
• Implemented QuEChERS extraction into the laboratory workflow for pesticide residue analysis, improving
analytical efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
