Non-IT Experience / Career Transition
To solidify my engineering skills before my first commercial role, I architected and developed a complex pet project: a Data-Driven Automation Framework for dynamic web application (browser-based game).
Architected a standalone tool using Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters) to automate complex workflows on a dynamic web platform using Selenide and Jsoup.
Database & State: Managed distributed state synchronization using MySQL, Spring Data JPA and Flyway\Liquibase for db migration.
Optimized performance by utilizing Java Multithreading (ExecutorService) for parallel UI execution and JPA Batch Processing, cutting data persistence time from 1h to ~10 minutes for 100k+ records.
Ensured resilience by integrating the Failsafe library to handle network timeouts, StaleElementReferenceExceptions, and dynamic DOM changes.

Result: Actively utilized by 3 users, completely eliminating manual routine and significantly accelerating their progression.

This hands-on project proved my ability to design scalable Java architecture from scratch and served as a bridge to my commercial career at SoftServe.
