Ontology, new intelligent methods, and a model of the process for intelligent diagnostics of computer tools have been developed, which enable the selection of diagnostic knowledge arrays from the knowledge base for use in intelligent diagnostic systems. The proposed intelligent methods of representing knowledge in a single formalism (model) ensure the reuse of knowledge from the knowledge repository. The results of experimental studies confirmed that the use of the developed software tools enabled a 27.5% increase in the efficiency of diagnosing computer tools and their components during operation.
