• Developed the 'Podilski Visti' regional news portal (client: Khmelnytskyi Oblast Council) from scratch — custom WordPress theme (PHP/CSS, zero page-builders), custom plugins for author management, custom publication dates, weather widget, currency exchange widget, multi-category archive. Site is live and fully managed by two editors.
• Performed a complex production server migration: set up new ISPmanager server, created new subdomain, deployed WordPress on subdomain for testing, then swapped DNS to point production domain to new host — zero data loss, zero downtime for readers.
• Migrated legacy Joomla site to new hosting in parallel: exported MySQL database via phpMyAdmin, re-imported on new server, edited configuration.php (Joomla) and wp-config.php (WordPress), reconfigured DNS records, installed and configured SSL certificates for both main domain and subdomain.
• Diagnosed and fixed critical performance issues on Joomla: switched to an older compatible PHP version via ISPmanager, increased PHP memory limit, cleared server-side cache — resolved site crashes under normal load.
• Managed file transfers and pre-launch testing via FileZilla FTP: compared file integrity, tested staging environment, edited .htaccess for redirect rules and access control before go-live.
• Built two WooCommerce stores for a Ukrainian clothing brand: integrated LiqPay & WayForPay payment gateways, custom delivery cost calculation, managed product catalog and visual customizations.
• Created custom WordPress plugins in PHP: currency exchange rate widget (external API), weather widget (external API), automated content scheduling — improving editorial workflow and user engagement.
• Administered MySQL databases directly via phpMyAdmin: manual SQL imports/exports, table modifications, content migrations, database cleanups after CMS updates.
