Job description

Requirements:

Candidate should have experience and/or training in booking loads and dispatching drivers as a USA freight broker.
An ideal candidate will have experience using loadboards, DAT, tracking apps like Four Kites and Trucker Tools, carrier onboarding requirements and set up with GoHighway, be familiar with US geography, mileage, and transit time requirements.
Experience with Mcleod is a bonus.

Work conditions:

This is a fully remote position currently hiring for 1st shift candidate on US Eastern Time. From 8am ET to 5pm ET.

Responsibilities:

Answer high volume of phone calls, negotiate rates with trucking companies, books loads and dispatch drivers, utilize tracking apps to monitor driver locations, post loads / repost loads on DAT and Truckstop if there is a problem with current driver, light communication with shipper customers if issues arise, enter arrival and departure times.
