At Media Components, we’re looking for a creative Social Media Manager who enjoys both coming up with ideas and bringing them to life. You’ll manage client accounts, develop fresh content concepts, and create social content with personality and purpose.

This is a part-time role with the potential to grow into full-time, based on performance and business needs.

What you’ll do

• Come up with fresh ideas for posts, Reels, Stories, and campaigns that fit each client’s brand.
• Create and edit short-form videos with strong hooks, good pacing, and platform-appropriate styles.
• Write captions, plan content calendars, and publish across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Use AI tools to brainstorm, explore creative directions, and make your workflow more efficient.
• Respond to comments and messages, track results, and use what you learn to improve content.
• Work with our social media team to bring concepts to life.

You’ll be a great fit if you…

• Have hands-on experience managing social media accounts and creating content for brands.
• Bring your own ideas and can turn a brief into content without needing every step spelled out.
• Are confident editing videos in CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools.
• Know your way around Canva and AI tools such as ChatGPT, and enjoy experimenting with new ones.
• Understand trends and know when they make sense for a brand.
• Write clear, engaging copy and stay organized across multiple client accounts.
• Can understand briefs and communicate in written English. Spoken English is a plus, but isn’t required.
• Can overlap for 4 hours within our 9 AM-5 PM US Eastern Time workday.
