Job description

Email Campaign Manager — Klaviyo & Copywriting

InFlows GmbH | Full-time independent contractor, fully remote | USD 2,000 — 4,000 / month

About Us

InFlows GmbH (in-flows.ch) is a Swiss-based email marketing agency working with a portfolio of fast-growing direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands across DACH and international markets. We run end-to-end email and SMS programs in Klaviyo for skincare, supplements, home goods, fashion, fragrance, solar, and more — handling everything from strategy and copywriting through design and deployment.

Our team is fully remote and international. We obsess over conversion, brand voice, and email craft. Every campaign we send is briefed, designed, and copy-edited to a Gold Standard before it goes live.

As we keep adding brands to our roster, we are expanding our campaign management team.

The Role

We are hiring a full-time independent contractor as Email Campaign Manager to take ownership of campaign and flow execution across a portfolio of brands inside Klaviyo.

You will be the person who turns briefs into live, beautifully built, high-converting emails. You will set up flows, schedule campaigns, write and refine copy, optimize email designs in Figma, and own the day-to-day campaign calendar for the brands assigned to you.

This is a hands-on operator role. You report directly to the founder and work closely with our existing campaign managers and designers.

Engagement Model

  • Status: Independent contractor, full-time exclusive engagement with InFlows GmbH.
  • Contract: Long-term agreement with a 3-month trial period.
  • Payment: Monthly, in USD via international bank transfer or Wise.
  • Tax & invoicing: You are responsible for issuing invoices and handling your own tax obligations in your country of residence.
  • Hours: Full-time. Daily overlap with European time zone (Europe/Zurich) preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Klaviyo campaign execution

  • Build, schedule, and deploy weekly email campaigns across multiple brands.
  • Set up A/B tests on subject lines, preview text, send times, and content blocks.
  • Manage segments, lists, suppressions, and sender reputation.
  • Apply UTM tagging, deliverability best practices, and clean Klaviyo template structures.

Flow setup & optimization

  • Build complete email flows in Klaviyo: Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Abandoned Checkout, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Winback, Cross-Sell, and Subscription Dunning.
  • Configure triggers, filters, conditional splits, and time delays correctly.
  • Optimize flows continuously based on open rate, click rate, and revenue per recipient.
  • Maintain clean naming conventions and documented flow structures across brands.

Copywriting

  • Write conversion-focused email copy in English and / or German — subject lines, preview text, body copy, and CTAs.
  • Adapt tone of voice precisely to each brand (premium skincare reads differently from supplement health authority differently from fragrance rebel).
  • Refine and polish briefs from the team into final, send-ready copy.
  • Apply proven copywriting frameworks (PAS, AIDA, BAB, FAB, Soap Opera, 4Ps).

Email design optimization in Figma

  • Optimize and refine existing email layouts in Figma based on briefs and design notes provided by our copy and strategy team.
  • Maintain brand visual consistency: typography, color, hierarchy, and mobile-first composition.
  • Hand off finalized designs cleanly into Klaviyo as templates or HTML blocks.
  • Iterate quickly on design feedback.

Reporting & communication

  • Track campaign and flow performance per brand: open rate, click rate, revenue per recipient, and unsubscribe rate.
  • Produce short weekly performance summaries per assigned brand.
  • Communicate proactively with the founder and team via Slack and MeisterTask.
  • Flag deliverability issues, list health concerns, or underperforming flows early.

Requirements (All Required)

  • Minimum 2−4 years of hands-on Klaviyo experience building and managing campaigns and flows for ecommerce brands.
  • Proven track record in Klaviyo — you can show actual campaigns and flows you have built, with real performance data (open rates, click rates, revenue impact).
  • Strong copywriting skills in English or German (both is a major plus).
  • Solid working knowledge of Figma — you can confidently optimize and refine email layouts to a clean, mobile-first standard.
  • Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer ecommerce: how stores, products, customer journeys, and email economics actually work.
  • Comfortable with full ownership of the campaign calendar and flow infrastructure for multiple brands in parallel.
  • Detail-obsessed, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable laptop and high-speed internet.

Nice-to-have

  • Bilingual English + German.
  • Experience with Shopify (product feeds, dynamic content, integrations).
  • Experience with SMS (Klaviyo SMS, Postscript, Attentive).
  • Experience with deliverability tooling (postmaster tools, warmup, domain authentication).
  • Background in performance marketing or conversion copywriting.
  • Familiarity with MeisterTask, Slack, and async remote work culture.
  • Existing portfolio of brands or case studies in skincare, supplements, fragrance, fashion, or home goods.

Compensation

  • Monthly fee: USD 2,000 — 4,000, depending on experience and skill set.
  • Equipment: Bring your own laptop. All software accounts (Klaviyo, Figma, MeisterTask, Slack) provided.
  • Long-term engagement: We are looking for someone to grow with us as a permanent core member of the campaign team.

Why Work With Us

  • Direct line to the founder — no bureaucracy, fast decisions, real ownership.
  • Work across a diverse portfolio of brands. Skincare today, fragrance tomorrow, supplements next week. You will sharpen fast.
  • A team that takes email craft seriously: every campaign briefed, designed, and audited to a Gold Standard.
  • Remote, autonomous, and async-first culture.
  • USD-denominated, predictable monthly income.
  • Long-term, stable engagement with a Swiss company that values quality and consistency above all else.
