Cobit Solutions (www.cobit-solutions.com) is a Business Intelligence consulting company specializing in Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Platform, Data Warehousing, ETL, and AI-powered analytics. We help companies replace manual reporting with automated dashboards and make decisions based on accurate, daily-updated KPIs.

Most of our clients are «hard-ground» businesses — manufacturing, logistics, distribution, retail, healthcare, finance, and other industries where data comes from multiple ERP, CRM, accounting systems, APIs, and Excel. Our projects involve building reporting solutions that executives rely on every day.

We are looking for a Power BI Developer who enjoys transforming complex business data into intuitive dashboards and wants to work on international BI projects with modern Microsoft technologies.

• Working hours aligned with EST time zone: start 11:00—14:00 Kyiv time, negotiable individually

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI.
• Design and maintain efficient semantic models following dimensional modeling best practices.
• Create DAX measures, KPIs, calculated columns, and Power Query transformations.
• Connect and integrate data from SQL databases, ERP/CRM systems, Excel, APIs, SharePoint, Azure, and other sources.
• Optimize report performance, refresh processes, and user experience.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and clients to understand reporting requirements.
• Validate calculations, business logic, and data quality before releases.
• Participate in report testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing improvements.

Requirements (must-have)

• 2+ years of commercial experience developing Power BI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Power BI Desktop
  • Power BI Service
  • DAX
  • Power Query (M)
• Good SQL skills (joins, aggregations, views, stored procedures are a plus).
• Understanding of dimensional data modeling (star schema, facts, dimensions).
• Experience connecting multiple data sources and building reusable datasets.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• English B1-B2 or higher.

Hiring process

• HR screening interview (English level check)
• Technical interview with Senior Power BI Developer (Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modeling)
• Short practical assignment (2−3 hours): build a small Power BI report from provided data and explain your modeling and DAX decisions
