Vendor Sourcing Specialist

Remote | Full-Time | U.S. Market

We are expanding our team and looking for a Vendor Sourcing Specialist to support U.S. government procurement projects.

This position is focused on research, analysis, sourcing, coordination and active communication including phone calls and emails.

You will review government procurement requirements, understand what product or service is needed, identify suitable vendors, obtain pricing and technical information, and help organize the project from initial research through quotation.

No previous experience with U.S. government contracts is required — we provide training, processes, tools, and support.

What You Will Do

  • Review U.S. government solicitation documents and identify key requirements
  • Analyze product specifications, Statements of Work (SOW), and technical documentation
  • Determine exactly what product or service needs to be sourced
  • Research manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and service providers across the U.S. and internationally
  • Contact vendors by phone and email
  • Request quotations, lead times, technical specifications, and availability
  • Follow up with vendors when information is missing
  • Research freight, delivery, installation, or other supporting services when required
  • Compare pricing and vendor capabilities
  • Organize research and quotations in Google Sheets / Excel
  • Verify that proposed products or services meet solicitation requirements
  • Maintain accurate notes and supplier information
  • Work on several procurement opportunities simultaneously and meet deadlines

Who We Are Looking For

You do not need previous government contracting experience.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Strong at online research and finding information
  • Comfortable calling companies and speaking with vendors
  • Persistent when information is difficult to obtain
  • Analytical and comfortable working with detailed documents
  • Able to understand technical product requirements
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to compare multiple options and identify the best solution
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Able to manage several research tasks at the same time

Requirements

  • English: B2 or higher
  • Strong written and speaking English
  • Comfortable making business phone calls in English
  • Good Google Sheets / Excel skills
  • Strong internet research skills
  • Ability to work with specifications, PDFs, spreadsheets, and technical documentation
  • Availability to work 9:00 AM — 6:00 PM New York time

Compensation

50,000 UAH/month + performance bonuses

Bonuses can range approximately from 5000 UAH to 500,000 UAH, depending on project performance.
