    Job description

We’re looking for someone who understands the fleet’s equipment and maintenance — end to end.

We are Ameriland Transport, a logistics company scaling rapidly in the US freight market. We work exclusively with owner-operators — we don’t own trucks, we don’t have a yard, and our entire operation runs remotely. What we need is someone who makes sure every piece of equipment tied to our owner-operators is tracked, road-ready, and accounted for at all times.

This is a role for someone who treats equipment like it’s money — who doesn’t wait for a breakdown to become a crisis, who builds systems so nothing falls through the cracks, and who can scale that system as we grow from 50+ to 100+ trucks.

    What we’re expecting from you:

Rental Truck & Trailer Reservation & Assignment Make sure every owner-operator who needs a rental truck or trailer gets suitable equipment on time — reservation confirmed, pickup details provided, and all company systems and relevant departments updated correctly.

Truck & Trailer Breakdown & Maintenance Assistance Be the first point of contact when a breakdown happens and a repair is needed, towing situation, or tire issue comes up. Coordinate help quickly to minimize downtime and get equipment back on the road safely.

Owner-Operator Equipment Tracking & Return Keep accurate records of all equipment and property assigned to owner-operators. Manage the equipment return upon the termination process.

Preventive Maintenance & Random Inspection Tracking Run a preventive maintenance and inspection tracking system so tire, brake, and other safety issues are caught and corrected before they turn into violations or breakdowns.

Maintenance Records & Repair Documentation Maintain complete, current records — inspection reports, repair invoices, receipts, and proof of completed repairs for every applicable truck and trailer.

    Why this role exists

    • The fleet is growing rapidly, and multiple aspects depend on reactive, one-time fast fixes.
    • We need someone who turns «put out fires» into «the fires don’t start» — through tracking, process, and follow-through using preventative maitenance expereince.
    • We want every piece of owner-operator equipment accounted for, at all times, by one person who understands the full picture

    Who we’re looking for

    • 3+ years of experience in fleet operations, fleet coordination, or truck/trailer maintenance support in the US trucking industry
    • Real, hands-on experience handling breakdowns, recoveries, and maintenance tracking — not just reading reports about them
    • Strong organizational skills — you can track dozens of trucks, trailers, and repair records using a modern TMS system.
    • A proactive mindset: you catch problems before they escalate, not after.
    • Comfortable coordinating with vendors, shops, and service providers, and negotiating for speed and cost and reliability.
    • KPI and results-driven.
    • Confident English — you’ll coordinate directly with owner-operators, vendors, and US-based partners
    • A fast learner who takes ownership immediately, without waiting for instructions

    Nice to have

    • Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA compliance requirements for equipment and inspections
    • Experience with fleet management or maintenance-tracking software
    • Background in working specifically with owner-operators (equipment assignment, onboarding/Termination)

    Work conditions

    • Full-time: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM — 12:00 AM (Kyiv time)
    • Fully remote
    • Reports directly to the Transportation Operations Head of department
    • Probation period built around real tasks — 3 months
    • Salary: $1,500/month during the first 3 months. After the trial period, it will increase to 2000$/month.

This is for you if you

    • Treat equipment like it matters — because idle equipment costs real money
    • Look for solutions instead of waiting for someone else to decide
    • Stay calm and move fast when something breaks
    • Love organizing, tracking, and having a system for everything
