Junior manual QA engineer

We’re looking for our client LoioJunior Manual QA Engineer

We offer:

• Full-time position with flexible working hours (approximately 9−10 AM to 6−7 PM).

• Join an existing QA team with a Lead and Middle QA Engineer.

Must have:

• 1+ year of experience in manual QA (web and mobile applications);
• basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, and ability to apply fundamental test design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.);
• experience in functional and non-functional, responsive and cross-browser testing;
• knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic understanding of client-server architecture and REST API;
• basic hands-on experience with API testing (Postman or similar);
• familiarity with analytics testing concepts (understanding what tracking events are and how they’re validated), preferably with Amplitude (GA4 or GTM experience is also acceptable);
• basic understanding of SEO fundamentals as they relate to QA (meta tags, page titles, canonical URLs, structured data, page speed basics) — ability to check that these elements are correctly implemented on product pages;
• experience with Jira and at least one test management tool (TestRail, Allure, or similar);
• ability to write test cases and checklists based on requirements/specs;
• experience participating in release activities (smoke, regression testing);
• ability to create and maintain test documentation (checklists, test cases, bug reports);
• strong, confident experience using AI tools for QA tasks (e.g., generating test cases and checklists, analyzing requirements, drafting bug reports, using AI-assisted testing tools) — this is a key part of the role;
• English level sufficient to comfortably read and understand technical documentation (specs, API docs, bug trackers).

Nice to have:

• experience with Confluence or similar documentation tools;
• experience with mobile testing on real devices/emulators;
• familiarity with SEO audit tools (Google Search Console, Lighthouse, Screaming Frog, or similar).

Responsibilities:

• perform functional and non-functional testing of web and mobile applications, with a focus on product/landing pages;
• conduct smoke and regression testing before releases;
• verify responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across devices and OS;
• check that product pages meet basic SEO requirements (correct meta tags, headings structure, URLs, page load performance) in collaboration with the SEO/marketing team;
• perform basic API testing (checking responses, validating expected behavior);
• assist in validating analytics and event tracking, primarily in Amplitude;
• create and maintain up-to-date test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports), actively using AI tools to speed up and improve this process;
• log defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps and prioritization;
• collaborate closely with PM, developers, designers, and SEO/marketing specialists;
