Sales Manager (Sea, Air Freight Forwarding)

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager (International Freight Forwarding) with expertise in ocean and air freight transportation.

Our client is a major European logistics operator providing a full range of logistics services, including international air, ocean, and road freight transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage sales of international freight forwarding services (import/export);
• Maintain correspondence with clients and business partners, including international counterparts;
• Prepare freight quotations, pricing calculations, and tender proposals;
• Monitor clients' accounts receivable and accounts payable;
• Resolve client-related issues and conflicts effectively.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding sales;
• Strong knowledge of international transportation processes and logistics operations;
• Solid understanding of foreign trade activities, bills of lading, international logistics regulations, and supply chain processes;
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and experience working with 1C ERP software;
• Experience in preparing and managing tender documentation;
• Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills, resilience under pressure;
• High level of professionalism, sound decision-making abilities, and business ethics;
• Proven track record of managing clients and projects throughout the entire cooperation lifecycle;
• Result-oriented mindset, proactive attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Upper-intermediate or higher spoken English proficiency.
