About the job

Full Stack Software Engineer — Python / JavaScript

We are Dutch/Ukrainian company looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and help maintain and expand an established ERP web application supporting day-to-day business operations.

The platform covers customer management, projects, work orders, planning, timesheets, inspection reports, document management, and invoicing. It also integrates with external accounting and electronic invoicing systems.

About the project

This is a legacy application that is continuously maintained and extended. It runs on Python 3.6 and uses older technologies, including AngularJS 1.x, RequireJS, and Bower. The backend uses Werkzeug, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL.

What you will do

  • Develop and extend features across the frontend, backend, and database.
  • Investigate issues and fix their root causes.
  • Maintain integrations, reports, and document generation.
  • Work with SQL queries and database migrations.
  • Test and review changes to protect existing functionality.
  • Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

What we are looking for

  • Strong experience with Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience maintaining and extending existing web applications.
  • Confidence working with older frameworks and dependencies.
  • Strong debugging skills and an understanding of APIs, permissions, and data integrity.
  • A structured approach to testing, Git, and code reviews.
  • The ability to work independently, take ownership, and communicate clearly.
