This year, Work.ua has become a partner of the Radio Dictation of National Unity, an event that has been bringing Ukrainians together around their language and culture since 2000. We hope that writing the Radio Dictation together will become part of companies’ corporate culture—or a personal tradition for individuals. We invite you to join us.

Why write the dictation together?

The Radio Dictation takes place on October 27, the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. Above all, it is about unity and preserving Ukrainian identity. When hundreds of thousands of people in Ukraine and abroad write the same text at the same time, we feel connected and remain part of the same cultural space, wherever we may be.

It is also an opportunity to pay closer attention to the world around us. Is Ukrainian spoken as confidently as we would like? Do we use it not only in formal meetings but also over coffee with colleagues? Our cultural space is shaped by everyday choices like these.

As Work.ua celebrates its 20th anniversary, we are especially conscious of our responsibility for how this space develops. We aim not only to strengthen the labour market but also to help create an environment where people want to live, work, and build the future.

How can you take part?

It is easy: simply add October 27 at 11:00 a.m. to your calendar and tell your friends and colleagues. No registration is required—just prepare some paper and a pen and tune in to the broadcast.

You can watch or listen:

The text for the 2026 Radio Dictation of National Unity was written by Artur Dron, a writer and veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian War. It will be read aloud by Ukrainian language and literature teacher Artur Proidakov and singer, civic activist, and volunteer Dasha Astafieva.

See you at the Radio Dictation!
