I am an IT professional with 25+ years of experience in software development.
My main stack is Microsoft (MS SQL Server etc.).
MS SQL database design and development always were a part of my responsibilities, as well as administration,
monitoring, and performance optimization.
Having a master degree in engineering, I try to use my skills in applied math to solve difficult algorithmic problems.

Key Responsibilities
● Developing various migration automation tools for multiple internal and customer projects.
● Writing code in C#, Java, and various SQL dialects (T-SQL, PL-SQL, etc.).
● Working with different frameworks and parsers (.NET, Spring, ANTLR) required to automate code conversion.
● Writing unit, functional, integration, and load tests.
● Creating design documents and specifications, such as BRD and TDD.
● Participating in team SCRUM ceremonies, proposing estimates, defining project scope.
● Participating in code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions.
Key Achievements
● Designed and created full specification for SSRS to QuickSight reports converter, and later acted as a SME for the
development team. The tool was used by one key customer to transform DAL for compatibility.
● Created test data samples generator for MS SQL Server databases with considering objects relations and query
parameters using parsing when database metadata is not available. Used as a part of test environment setup.
 ● Developed parser of complex Oracle AWR HTML reports, which translates it to the fully customizable JSON. The
utility became part of a solution, which meats security limitations.
● Taken part in embedded SQL queries migration. Created parsers, analyzers, and converters for new source
languages, PHP and VB.NET. As a results thousands of hours of manual labor are saved.

Key Responsibilities
● Database development, administration, monitoring, and optimization.
● Providing SDE expertise to the database engineering organization.
● Integrating various data management systems into a single solution.

● Developing in-house advanced database monitoring solution.
● Implementing database best practices for external clients.
Key Achievements
● Using native MS SQL Server tools such as Query Store, I created a solution to load test repeats actual user’s activity
without access to production databases. This solution reduced 80% of index storage and improved 20% of performance.
● Created an extension for Microsoft SSMA which emulates Oracle spatial types using MS SQL Server Geo data types.
● Analyzed the performance of newly created CRM product, found multiple issues in database design and
programming objects. After my optimization the database passed performance tests and was successfully deployed to
production.
● Added to monitoring system a component which aggregates various performance counters metrics and shows them
in a highly configurable SSRS graphic report. It allowed support team to predict issues and proactively make changes to
the database infrastructure.
● Designed and implemented a solution which consolided data from various sources (Mixpanel, MongoDB, MariaDB,
etc.) in a single cloud target. The solution supports comprehensive configuration and runs in parallel to ensure less than
two minutes latency.

Designed and singlehandedly implemented a comprehensive internal workflow management solution, a web-site with
visual workflow designer, tasks planning, reporting, and time management.
Later integrated the internal system with customer-facing Salesforce CRM, which also allowed to save on licensing cost,
using single service account instead of individual subscriptions.
The solution was used by ~200 people on the daily basis and replaced hundreds of shared MS Excel spreadsheets.
