Export Booster was a project affiliated by the Ministry of the Economy of Ukraine. Its goal was to promote nearly 30 Ukrainian
food producing enterprises on the European markets. The area I was speficially responsible for was Belgium and Netherlands.
I was looking for leads among Dutch and Belgium supply chains, supermarkets and food wholesale organizations. Among
Ukrainian food producing companies & trade marks there were such as: Ligos, Bob Snail, Zaporizhia bakery, Vinnytsia Food
factory and others.
Significant product requests totaling 6.5 million euros were received from potential buyers.
A firm relationship were established between some of the Ukrainian companies and some of the European food associations
some of whom added Ukrainian companies to their database and actively shared contacts with their members.
Also, friendly and fruitful relations were formed with Bakery Initiatives Group (BIG), which provided invitations for Ukrainian
companies to participate in the IBA exhibition in Munich.
