Activities performed: Representative in Kyiv Public Buildings Energy Efficiency Project with World
Bank loan (KIBA 4534-UA) from Honeywell site. The project was
implemented by the World Bank loan in the amount of 18.3 million U.S.
dollars. (MBRD 4534-UA)
The project provided for the installation of heat metering and individual heat
substation in more than 1,300 public facilities (schools, kindergartens, health
care and cultural institutions).
International competitive bidding was conducted using the ICB procurement
method, such as DSI (design, supply and installation) procurement.
Honeywell took a part and was declared the winner in 5 lots for the supply
and installation of more than 700 modular individual heating substations
(MIHS)

My responsibilities:

• Engineering calculations of equipment for each MIHS
• Prepare of all bid documentation
• Coordination between Honeywell and other suppliers of equipment to
produce MIHS
• Coordination between Honeywell and Subcontractors
• Departure to facilities to solve current technical and organizational
problems
• Coordination between Honeywell and the Customer for startup, final
tests and commissioning works.
• Translation of technical documentation (eng-ukr-rus)
• Preparation of technical and executive documentation, commissioning
instructions, operating and maintenance instructions for MIHS
• Conduct training sessions with the operational staff of the Customer
• Control over compliance with technical requirements of tender
documentation from of MIHS manufacturers, installation works and
organization of safety working conditions.
• Coordination between Honeywell and Customer’s Technical Specialists
• Quarterly preparation of Work Process Reports for the Project
Implementation Unit (PIU) about the progress of the project
implementation plan from Honeywell side.
• Control over the implementation of project schedules and timely

Successful completion of contracts was noted in December 2005 by the
World Bank report on the project completion.
