Двоє середньовічних лицарів чекають у пустелі на нічне чудовисько — «дракона» з вогняними очима. Твір
побудований на зіткненні двох часових епох та вимагає збереження особливої ритміки, атмосфери тривоги й
поетичної мови автора.
