•Direct whole gamut of procurement of required materials for projects from local as well international markets
as per design and quality specifications.
•Developing project Tender/Bid proposals from ITT/ITB until complete package.
•Develop project procurement plan, strategy, procedures, approved supplier and sub-contractor list along with
project engineer in line with the overall project requirement.
•Conduct objective evaluation of local and international suppliers required for projects. Review services (including sub-contracts), capital equipment, and site facilities required for completion of projects.
•Process enquiries and orders in line with company procedures including strategy development, vendor selection, bidding, bid clarification, bid analysis, and minor and major tender board procedures.
•Finalize terms and conditions of purchasing contracts. Foster Long Term Rate Agreements to minimize number of orders and maximize savings.
•Evaluate completeness and accuracy of PO documents and related data like reconciliations and inventories.
•Carry out pro-active and effective expediting to ensure deliveries are received on time and within specified budgets as per project plan and requirement.
•Interact regularly with engineering, projects and finance departments to understand project’s technical and financial aspects to ensure identification of appropriate sources of material and services supply.
•Participate in development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
•Facilitate risk management pertaining to project procurement and ensure compliance to various procedures, policy guidelines, code of business conduct, etc.
•Lead end to end monitoring and control of complete project supply chain, including expediting and close outs of all project purchase orders and sub-contracts.
•Monitor vendor reliability and dependability. Interact with vendor and supplier to discuss production, shipping and other pertinent issues.
•Investigate and assist with the resolution of order discrepancies and other customer satisfaction issues such as damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications.
•Preserve highest ethical standards and adhere to company policy and sound business practices.
