Internal Auditor, Revenue Cycle Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Internal Auditor — Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our remote billing team. This role is focused on ensuring accurate and clean revenue recognition by matching posted charges from Ortho2 reports to corresponding bank deposits. The ideal candidate has experience with healthcare billing systems and is comfortable working independently in a fully virtual environment. You will play a vital part in the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Ortho2 Edge software reporting to monitor posted charges and payment activity
• Use view-only access to bank accounts to match daily deposits with charges posted
• Identify discrepancies or unmatched transactions and work with billing or management to resolve them
• Maintain clear, organized records of all reconciliations and matches
• Assist the finance team in ensuring accurate month-end and year-end revenue recognition
• Collaborate virtually with billing team members to streamline communication and task resolution
• Support ongoing audits, reporting, and documentation efforts as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in revenue cycle management or medical billing, preferably in dental or orthodontic practices
• Required knowledge of English on B2+ level
• Familiarity with Ortho2 or comparable healthcare billing software
• Understanding of bank reconciliation and revenue recognition processes
• High attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately
• Self-motivated and reliable in a remote work environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet/reporting tools
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance in handling patient billing data would be a plus
• Availability in the evenings, in line with the US working hours
