Logistics Support Specialist (After hours)

Important: We consider only candidates with US trucking industry experience. About the role

The After-hours Support position at Lemberg Group involves supporting drivers and the team outside of regular business hours. You will assist with urgent dispatch-related matters (ETA, loading/unloading status updates, detentions, etc.) and provide basic support for maintenance requests (repairs, roadside assistance). Training will be provided.

Requirements

• Required: experience in the US trucking industry (fleet maintenance, repairs).
• At least 6 months of experience working with trucks/fleet operations.
• Dispatch experience will be considered an advantage.
• Strong English proficiency at B2+ level.

Responsibilities

Dispatch:

• Coordinate communication with drivers to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries during after-hours.
• Provide brokers and customers with location and ETA updates, as well as loading/unloading status updates.
• Handle detentions and assist with lumpers.
• Manage layover/TONU processes and assist drivers with freight-related inquiries.
• Provide administrative support and maintain documentation/records (record keeping).
• Help optimize routes (when possible, using toll-free roads) and perform basic route validation.

Maintenance:

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from drivers/dispatchers during after-hours shifts.
• Perform initial diagnostics and troubleshooting (mechanical/electrical issues, etc.).
• Coordinate urgent repairs and roadside assistance with on-call technicians or external service providers.
• Document completed actions and update records in the maintenance system; follow safety procedures.
