Full Stack Software Engineer (Perl)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in Perl and JavaScript/TypeScript to join an international team.

In this role, you will be involved in the full product development lifecycle, contributing to both backend and frontend parts of the system and participating in architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full product development lifecycle
• Design and implement new features
• Conduct code reviews and design reviews
• Analyze and estimate implementation efforts
• Optimize system performance and scalability
• Mentor less experienced team members
• Communicate with PM regarding task status, risks, and blockers

Required Skills

• Commercial experience with Perl (must-have)
• Full stack development experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of:
  • React, Redux
  • NestJS, Express
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience in code performance analysis
• Experience designing data storages (SQL / NoSQL)
• Experience working with scalable systems
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of other backend technologies (Python, Java, .NET)
• Experience with Vue or Angular
