I work part-time as a teacher for OnlyEnglish. I specialize in C1 and B2 coursework, as well as preparation for the standardized tests of various kinds (Duolingo, IELTS, etc.). I prepare students for university interviews and entrance exams, with a focus on rigorous academic writing and application. I also work with Ukrainians who have excellent degrees and work experience, but struggle to find work in the UK that is at their level of expertise. I've succesfully helped multiple students give interviews that were notably well-received, and in some cases securing jobs that had been previously out of reach for these students.

As Editor-in-Chief, helping rookies and first-years get "up-to-snuff" with their writing and reporting was a fulltime job that required my attention on a 24-hr schedule, as at anytime, disaster or a major story can strike. This was really also my first teaching position, as we were a student-run outlet from the ground-up.
